Our congratulations to Tara and Grant who married at the Garvock House Hotel in Dunfermline. This was our first opportunity to provide wedding photography at this venue, although we will be back there shortly for a wedding reception. I think that the most important aspects of a wedding venue are the professionalism and attitude of the staff, and Garvock House Hotel is a good choice in this regard. The waiting staff, hotel manager and the kilted supervisor were all very calm, friendly and efficient – exactly what a bride and groom need on their big day.

We were also blessed on the day with glorious sunshine which allowed us to make full use of the landscaped gardens for wedding photographs.

One thing that is always a big help on the day is a relaxed and organised best man. We were fortunate to have Grant’s brother Ross to help organise the guests for the formal group shots. After enjoying the good weather for a while, we were all back inside for the cutting of the cake and meal.
