Congratulations to Hugh and Roslyn on their marriage at Murrayshall House in Scone. Despite the weather being wet and grey, the day was eventful and fun. The venue has plenty of charming features indoors for wedding photography and we used this to our advantage.

The ceremony was conducted by a Humanist celebrant with a violinist and guitarist providing the music.

Today took us to the Radisson Blue Hotel in Glasgow for the wedding of Mark and Joanne. The venue is located in the heart of the city and we took advantage of this to get outside for some street wedding photography as well as making use of the interior for some fun shots.

The ceremony was conducted in a light-hearted way by Mark the minister with piano, violin and song accompaniment. We planned the photography schedule carefully to allow plenty of time for the newlyweds to relax and mingle with their guests.

Congratulations to Claire and Willie who married at 22 Park Circus in Glasgow. The couple had arranged unique transport in the form of a vintage double-decker ‘corporation’ bus which came in very handy for getting the bridal party and guests to the reception venue at the Winter Gardens in Glasgow Green.

The Winter Gardens provides a large, open space for wedding functions and today we were blessed with lovely afternoon sunshine to complement the speeches before dinner. By using carefully placed ‘off camera’ lighting, the speeches were perfectly captured.

Congratulations to Ryan and Nicola on their marriage at Glenbervie House Hotel in Larbert near Falkirk. The weather started very wet but cleared just in time for the wedding leaving us with a great day for photography. We made the most of the venue’s beautiful grounds and fantastic interior. This is certainly on my top ten list of favourite wedding photography locations. Nicola looked stunning in her dress and the groom brushed up fairly well too!

The second wedding for us at New Lanark Mill Hotel in the space of one week – a remarkable coincidence! This time, it was the marriage of Lindsey & Scott and unlike last week, we had enough of a dry spell in the weather to make use of the fantastic location. Including the hotel’s impressive roof-top terrace with views across the area.

A new venue for us today at New Lanark Mill Hotel for the marriage of David and Lynn. It is part of a restored old mill village that has been tastefully redeveloped as a world heritage site and makes a great location for weddings. Although the day started off dry, unfortunately the weather turned very wet and windy so we were unable to venture outside to capture the surroundings – relying instead on spacious areas indoors for photography.

Two new venues for us at today’s wedding between Emma and Tony. The ceremony was held at Christ the King Chapel and the reception at Pollockshaws Burgh Hall.

Today’s wedding was at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Cardonald for Diarmaid and Theresa. The rain was falling heavily but did nothing to dampen the spirits of the bridal party and guests who made it a wonderful occasion.

After the ceremony, we headed off to the Sherbrooke Castle Hotel for the reception where we captured some more wonderful images. The staircase is a prime feature at the hotel and came in handy for group shots out of the rain.

Congratulations to Vida and Mindaugas who married at 22 Park Circus in Glasgow on a very warm and sunny day.

Despite some humorous difficulty pronouncing the couple’s surnames, the registrar lead ceremony went smoothly. We then made the most of the fine weather by taking a walk to nearby Kelvingrove Park and capturing more great images.
